Hey there!This is Patrick, Shaun's wonderful son. I'm here to tell you a story about how the Paddock family almost got arrested. The Paddocks had planned a vacation to New Orleans, to visit family. Charlie, the father and husband, decided it would be a wonderful adventure to take the Amtrak train. The train ride from Spartanburg to New Orleans was an amazing sixteen hours. Yucky. I'll get to the train ride later. Right now I'm going to tell you about what happened as we were waiting for the train.
Charlie was told by an employee that at three in the morning, when we arrived at the train station, the waiting room would be open. Upon arriving at the train station, at three in the flippin' morning, we found that the waiting room had vanished. So I, being the adventurous one, decided to just start opening doors until i found it. All doors were locked, except for one. I opened it, looked inside, and found an office. I closed the door, and we went to sit on the benches. Ten minutes later, we heard: WEEOO WEEOO WEEOO! BURGLARY! BURGLARY! STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND LEAVE IMMEDIATELY! We were like, what the...? Ten minutes later, four cop cars come speeding into the train station, looking for the robber. We explained what happened, and everything was okay. For the remainder of our wait for the train, we sat and talked to the nice policemen. Here are some pictures of the event.
