WHEN I'M 64!

The love of my life turned 64 on July 18th. Mitchell was at the beach so we celebrated without him. A few photos for your enjoyment!

My present was having his wedding ring re-sized since it had shrunk. Is it shrunk or shrank? Whatever. I think he had a great birthday!

A LITTLE EVENING EXERCISE~

Last week after dinner Vinny asked Charlie if he would come out and play a little volleyball with her. When he agreed, I grabbed my camera! It was around 7:30 at night and the weather was perfect. Mitchell was also outside practicing his Lacrosse.

It is hard to tell in these photos but Mitchell got his hair cut really short earlier that day. He looks so much older.

BYE BYE SWEATSHIRT!

About 15 years ago, my niece, Nicole, gave Charlie a sweatshirt from the Advertising Agency she was working for at the time. The agency was called DSW. Well, Charlie LOVED that sweatshirt and wore it to work at least two days a week. Remember, Charlie works from home, thank goodness.  

I told him that if I bought him a couple of new sweatshirts for Christmas then it would be time to toss the DSW sweatshirt. I held up my end of the bargain, but he had tough time with his end.  

As soon as we were finished opening presents, it was time to say goodbye to the sweatshirt.

Charlie was to upset to actually do the honors so Vinny helped out.

Then the bugger tried to sneak the shirt back out of the garbage. He finally relented and let it go. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!

 

MY BEST FRIEND!

Yesterday was our 14 year Anniversary! If you knew how much my wonderful husband is you would be jealous! Here is a list of just a few of his many great qualities...

He loads the dishwasher.

He gets up with the kids and gets them ready for school, every day!

He takes the kids to school and picks them up if I am not feeling well.

He takes care of the cat.

He has the best sense of humor and thank goodness has passed that on to our children.

He is strong in his faith.

He is so handsome!

He takes such good care of me when I am not feeling my best which is most of the time.

He picks up all of my medications.

He is an amazing father!

He is an amazing Grandfather!

I could go on and on and on. I love him and thank God everyday for blessing me with this amazing man!

EXHAUSTED!

Charlie has been out of town since very early Monday morning. He had to go to Salt Lake for a meeting. With him gone, I was the one to get up at 6:00 am to get Mitchell & Vinny ready for school.  He came home last night and not a minute too soon! I am simply wiped out so this is all there is today?

BIRTHDAY WISHES!

Yesterday was my best friends birthday! I won't tell you how old he is but I will tell you this. He is as old as the year I was born (63) and I am as old as the year he was born (47). Pretty cool don't you think? Now, I can only post a few photos that I took yesterday since my hard drive has died along with all of my photos. Here you go!

Hello everyone, Patrick again. At the beginning of February, my dad traveled back to Salt Lake City, Utah for business. While he was there, He met up with my mom's brother Jim, and his wife Chrissie. None of us have seen them since we moved out here. I only wish i could have been there to see them. Here are a few pictures.

MISSING MY MAN~

Charlie left on Monday for New Hampshire. He went to visit his newest Grandson, the cute little guy I posted about on Friday. I am not sure if I have ever mentioned this before, Charlie does pretty much everything around here. Okay, I do the laundry and occasionally I cook. He gets up in the morning and gets the kids ready for school. I wake up 15 minutes before they leave and say goodbye. Then, on most mornings, I go back to bed. Today is day two of me on my own in the morning and I am already exhausted.

This is not the only reason I miss him, there are many reasons. With my exhaustion, I simply have no energy for posting much today. I will leave you with a photo that I forgot to post on Thanksgiving.

Vinny made this list the day before Thanksgiving. She is so much her mother's daughter.

THANKSGIVING THEME~

We have a tradition on Thanksgiving where we come up with a theme and then dress up. Two years ago we had a Hippie Thanksgiving. We all wore tie dye shirts that year. Last year our theme was Tacky and we dressed crazy and tacky. This year our good friend Waller came up with our theme. We dressed up as our favorite movie character or actor.Here are some photos from dinner.
