After the Art Walk, we went to Main Street for a late lunch. Sam let the boys take a few photos.

On the Saturday that Sam was in town, we went to Greenville to check out the Art Walk. We went to the west Greenville area where there were numerous art studios and galleries open to the public. You could meet the artists and purchase the art. It was an amazing day! Sam took his camera and took lots of plenty of photos for your enjoyment.
This was the first gallery we went to. It was shaped like a miniature flat iron building.

In the summer our pool time is spent outside. In the winter it is spent inside. No, we do not have an indoor swimming pool. We do however have a pool table. While Sam was visiting we spent one evening shooting pool.

I cannot wait to see her on the field! It is going to be a great season.
While Sam was here, he wanted to see the Mitchell and Vinny practice Lacrosse. Thankfully, he brought his camera. Today I shall share the photos he took of Mitchell during practice.

The Lacrosse team can only practice three weeks in the fall. The rest of the time they run and condition. One more week with equipment.

We arrived home from Charlotte on Sunday and decided it was time to carve our pumpkins. I think they turned out pretty well. Judge for yourself.

Now, Mitchell did not go trick or treating. He finally went around the block once with a couple of friends. Here is his candy.

It was a great Halloween. We had around 200 kids come by our house and we did not run out of candy!
The first Lacrosse game on Sunday was at 8:00 am. The temperature when we arrived at the field was 37 degrees. We did not plan on such cold weather. Our coats were not warm enough and I forgot blankets. I am so thankful for our generous friends who let Vinny and Raven borrow blankets.

The next game was not until 11. Charlie and I took the girls to get some breakfast and coffee. When we got back to the field we found the boys playing Ninja. I have no idea how you play Ninja but I do know it is fun to watch.

The boys lost both games on Sunday. It was a great weekend and they never gave up. Happy Tuesday.
The weekend before Halloween found us back in Charlotte for a Lacrosse Tournament. You know what that means? Yes, many, many photos...
We arrived in Friday night. After the kids did a little workout, they hit the computers in the business center. The young lady in the blue shirt is Vinny's friend Raven.

The first of three games on Saturday was at 11:30. Mitchell is number 23 and has red shoes and red elbow pads. This summer he played on a U15 team. This fall we did not have enough kids to field two teams so he played with the U19 kids. It was quite the learning experience for him.

The boys won one game and lost two. After the last game, we went to dinner with a few other parents and their kids.

Two weeks after Mitchell's birthday, we finally took him out for his birthday meal at Olive Garden.
