I am taking a tiny break from blogging for a few days. Why you ask? Well, on November 1st, this guy is coming for a visit!
Between youth group, subbing, voice lessons, viola lessons and sleeping, I must clean my house. Plus, this weekend Mitchell is playing in a Lacrosse tournament. I promise to be back soon.

On Sunday, we attended our Church picnic. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. I shall now share a few photos...

One of our favorite people at church is Pauline. She is the nicest lady in the world.

Mitchell's birthday was on Friday. Vinny and I were sick on Friday so we put off having cake until Sunday. We had planned on going to lunch after church and then remembered it was the church picnic. We still owe him his birthday dinner. After the picnic we came home and rested, did some homework then finally had his cake!
No, he is not 51. It is a tradition in our family to switch the numbers. Yes, we are a little strange.

When Mitchell went to blow out his candles, Charlie put his hand in front of him. He is lucky he did not hit Mitchell.

Sunday was also Patrick and Maddy's 5 month anniversary!
There is a new driver in town. On Mitchell's birthday, Charlie took him in to take his driving permit test. He only missed three! Charlie let him drive the last part of the drive home.

I was crying when I took this photo so it is not the best photo. Now, he can only drive with a parent in the car and then in 6 months after completing driver's education, he will get a restricted license. I will explain what that means when that happens.

On Sunday, we decided since we were all dressed up for Waller's funeral, we would take a few photos. I actually wanted to take a few of Patrick and his new hair cut and it turned into a photo shoot. I am not sure where Mitchell was, probably watching his Saints beat the Panthers.
Yes, Patrick shaved his head. He had a dream about it so he woke up and did it. I had to take him to the salon to have it fixed. My hair was straightened by Vinny.
He cleans up pretty well.

Three days until Mitchell will turn 15!
On Friday, we lost a very dear friend and Heaven received a new angel. Waller was born on July 10, 1963. He was the most amazing, generous, kind, brilliant man I have ever known. We will miss him every day for the rest of our lives. Rest in Peace Waller.
