After the last game, we went out to lunch with our good friends, the Murphy's. Their son is number 44. The bad part was since we had to check out of our hotel before the games on Sunday, Mitchell could not shower after the games. He was a little ripe.

It was a great weekend. We met some great new friends and it was amazing to watch the kids progression. Next tournament is at the end of July in Gainsville, GA!

Our little Gregory was in the ICU yesterday and seemed to be improving. We are hoping he will come home today! Thank you for your prayers.

 

SOUTHERN SIZZLE!

This past weekend, we went to Charlotte for the Southern Sizzle Lacrosse tournament. The weather was close to pleasant and our hotel was very nice. The boys played leaps and bounds better than they did two weeks ago. We did not win any games but improved a great deal. Two weeks ago, we scored 1 goal in 5 games. This weekend we had over 5 goals and one of those was from MITCHELL!!!  

One thing to keep in mind is that the teams our boys are playing against have played together for at least 3 years and  a couple of teams 6 years. Our team has played together for 6 practices. We are the sacrificial lamb team. In a few years our boys will be unbeatable! Be prepared for lots of photos!

I have a special request; our youngest grandson is currently in the hospital with some breathing difficulties. He was transferred to Dartmouth yesterday. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Vinny had her friend Allie over the other day for some fun in the sun! I did not take a single photo, can you believe that? Thank goodness the girls took photos of each other!

LAXIN WITH ANNA!

A couple of weeks ago, the beautiful Anna came over with the lovely Leah for some swim and sun fun. Before they got in the pool, the kids dragged Anna out front for some Lacrosse. Anna is our friend who was the high school women's leading scorer last year and will be playing at Marquette in the fall. 

After about 30 minutes playing in the heat, they were finally ready for the water.

DADDY'S DAY 2011!

We had a nice Father's Day. Patrick had to work from 8-4 and so the rest of us went to church and hung out at home. When Patrick got off we started the festivities.

After a nice dinner of my famous (okay, only famous in our family) enchilada dinner, I ordered everyone outside for a photo shoot.

SILVER LINING

On Saturday, after Mitchell's first day of the LAX tournament, Vinny and rode home with some friends since Charlie and Mitchell were spending the night. On the way home, we saw this amazing cloud. At first, I thought it was lightning. I took it as a reminder that God was with us.
