NEXT STOP... HIGH SCHOOL!

Last Tuesday, Mitchell graduated from Middle School. I cannot believe he is going to be in High School next fall. Time flies. Charlie was in New Orleans so I took plenty of photos which I must share. So, sit back, grab a tissue and enjoy!

Diploma! After graduation, I took Mitchell, Patrick and his friend Chandler out to lunch. Then a few friends came over to swim. I swam as well so I have no photos. Tomorrow I will post the video of this choir singing.

FOR LEVI!

Today is Memorial Day. A friend posted this on Facebook and I had to share it...

While some are at the beach, some are at the lake, some are making hot dogs and hamburgers, some are just resting on the couch watching movies.... whatever people are doing this weekend... may we not forget those that have died fighting for our freedom... and those that are risking their lives everyday for us.... so thankful.

Our friend Levi has been in Afghanistan now for over 2 months. He is doing as well as can be expected. He had his first shower in 2 months last week. We miss him everyday and pray for his safe return. Please remember those who have fought, died and been injured in order for us to remain safe. We love you Levi!

CONCERTS!

Mitchell had his last Middle School Chorus concert a couple of weeks ago as well as his voice recital.

For Patrick's 19th birthday party, he had a few close friends over for a swim. It turned out to be a great night! I will be posting a few of the 200 photos I took that night.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!

Last week, Vinny and I made the three hour drive to Atlanta to see one of her favorite bands in concert. The band is My Chemical Romance and they were playing at the Tabernacle. We had the best time! Vinny had the time of her life! Be prepared for a lot of photos!

We were able to stay at the Marriott Marquis thanks to Charlie's son in law Kent! Thank you Kent. He even got us onto the Concierge level which is the top floor.

We got back to the hotel around 12:30. We were both exhausted. It was a great concert but I hope it is my last for at least a year.

The next day, on our way home, we stopped in Buford, GA to have lunch with my beautiful friend Wendy. Wendy and I were friends in High School and have not seen each other for 30 years. It was such a nice reunion.

SURPRISE PARTY!

A couple of days after Vinny's Spring Orchestra concert, I along with the kids in Vinny's class surprised their teacher, Mrs. Gleeson with a baby shower/going away party. A former student, Whitney, who is also a good friend of ours, went along and took some photos for me.

When the kids saw me they yelled surprise. She was very surprised.

Meet little Emma. We are so happy for Mrs. Gleeson and her husband. Now, if only they could stay in the states. Thank you for all you have done for Vinny! You will never be forgotten!
