ANOTHER FIRST IN SC

We have had many firsts in South Carolina; our first fireflies, our first magnolia tree, our first Christmas, etc. On Saturday, Charlie had another first; his first car accident. He was on his way home from dropping the boys off at a skate park in Greenville when a woman made a left hand turn in front of him. Fortunatly no one was hurt. The policeman did not give either of them a ticket which we thought was odd.

A little while later the policeman called us to tell Patrick that the woman had given him the wrong registration. Charlie asked him why he did not give her a ticket. The policeman said, "I did not feel like it; my discretion." So, not only did he no notice that he had the wrong registration but he did not feel like giving her a ticket. Charlie told his insurance company this information and a little while later, he received a call from her insurance company. They are going to pay for all of the damage to his car and pay for a rental car while it is in the shop.  We think that when our insurance company told her insurance company what the police told us, they decided it was best to take care of us.
Here is what the car looks like...
